Position Overview: St. Gabriel's Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospice Compliance RN to join our compassionate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), chart auditing, and responding to Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs). Experience with WellSky Consolo is highly preferred.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough chart audits to ensure compliance with hospice regulations and standards.
  • Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain and enhance compliance processes.
  • Provide education and training to staff on compliance-related topics.
  • Utilize WellSky Consolo software to manage and document patient care effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospice regulations and industry best practices.
 
Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with QAPI, chart auditing, and responding to ADRs in a hospice setting.
  • Familiarity with WellSky Consolo or similar hospice documentation software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
